SRK Engineering, Inc. is a certified Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) , Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and 8a General Engineering Contractor based in Southern California. We are dedicated to helping our clients be successful in the construction industry, through attention to detail, executing efficiently and getting things done. We have extensive experience on both the owner’s side and the contractor’s side of large and small projects specializing in transportation, water and sewer pipelines and storage, bridge construction, airport construction, and retaining walls.

Our team possesses years of experience on a diverse list of heavy civil, airport, bridge, retaining wall and pipeline related projects. Our staff will provide a proactive and “ownership” methodology to each project that will enable our team to anticipate and eliminate obstacles before they become problems and ensure both the owner’s and the contractor’s interests are protected. Most importantly, our team is adaptable and can provide services to the level of excellence required by both contractors and owners alike in this fast-paced industry.

SRK Engineering, Inc. was founded by Sherry Rebueno Kirkpatrick, P.E. Sherry gained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Riverside at California and manages all aspects of SRK.  She has over a decade of experience from a water district managing water and sewer capital improvement projects and developments.  She is a licensed Civil Engineer in the state of California. Her extensive knowledge in managing engineering design firms and contractors to complete projects to the agencies' standards gives her the experience needed to help construction projects get built efficiently and correctly while meeting the owner’s needs.

 

 

Jeremy Kirkpatrick, P.E. rounds out the management team as Vice President. Jeremy earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Diego.  He has worked on on the contractor’s side as a field engineer, superintendent, and project manager on bridge, highway, airport, and pipeline projects for numerous agencies in Southern California.  He has successful experience in managing tough projects while helping the owner solve problems to prevent them from becoming claims.  Jeremy has worked for Flatiron Construction and Kiewit and uses his extensive construction experience to help companies with project management and engineering services.

Since this successful effort, MCTC has awarded additional subcontract packages to SRK on the Mid-Coast Project including storm drainage, sewer, utility work, and a bike path project including additional counterfort walls worth over $4 million.
